good day although I have a cold. finally got to see the amazing "where the wild things are". and for dinner "palt" the best food there is. i'll say it again. good day.

the future is here

in 1993 I went to hollywood and universal studios. that was amazing. the big news that year was "back to the future the ride". since I was a huge fan of the trilogy (still am) it was a must on my to do list. th whole family waited in line forever but finally it was our turn. in the ride you got to sit in a car that looked just like the classic delorean and you got to travel through time on a 3D-screen in front of the car. I remember asking the guy who was about to shut the car door, when I just had got into it, if it would be moving (I was a bit nervous it would feel scary). he just smiled at me and said "the car will be moving alright..." and slammed the door. the ride was so amazing and totally cool. at least in 1993.
I saw avatar the other day and realised that kids will be a lot harder to impresse in the future, the cool things from hollywood are much closer now. the future is already here...

the words are spoken

went to see my friend malin at a spoken word show last night. if you've never been I can truly recommend. the six poets were really different from eachother. it's better than stand-up because you get to laugh when you want to rather then when it's expected from you. the battery in my camera died. so it's not malin being bald in the picture. it's this guy. he is very funny.

in all the vinyls there is a goodiebag. in every goodiebag there is something made by someone in the band. i made some new friends for you. this is ellen. she likes dancing and her favorite fruit is apple.

jazznight for dad

friday was dad's birthday. because of the release we celebrated him on saturday with a supergreat nite filled with jazz. on the reportoar was this song among many others. it's the theme song for a classic kidsshow in sweden. bengt ernryd playing trumpet and leading the quartet was the one who wrote it.
