went to sopstationen in malmö. besides us there were a lot of fishermen and cars. and a fox that for once wasn't sleeping. I also might have seen my future...

while strolling around in malmö the other day me and my sister went into david design. I found lot's of things that are welcome home to us. especially the mhy lamp from Norway says and the great candleholders from helgo. I've had them on my wishlistfor quite som time now and you'll never know since a big birthday is getting closer...
a new favourite was the funny animalcups by attua aparicio torinos for thorsten van elten.

outside they had a firebasket from röshults. my friend cornelia makes great things for them aswell!
but no tears even though i went home with nothing this time, except lot's of inspiration.
the pillow is from fornasetti by the way.

two very great ladies turned 30 and we all celebrated! I really liked the cups and our rehearsalspace have never looked nicer. hopefully there will be more such parties coming up soon!

in 1993 I went to hollywood and universal studios. that was amazing. the big news that year was "back to the future the ride". since I was a huge fan of the trilogy (still am) it was a must on my to do list. th whole family waited in line forever but finally it was our turn. in the ride you got to sit in a car that looked just like the classic delorean and you got to travel through time on a 3D-screen in front of the car. I remember asking the guy who was about to shut the car door, when I just had got into it, if it would be moving (I was a bit nervous it would feel scary). he just smiled at me and said "the car will be moving alright..." and slammed the door. the ride was so amazing and totally cool. at least in 1993.
I saw avatar the other day and realised that kids will be a lot harder to impresse in the future, the cool things from hollywood are much closer now. the future is already here...

went to see my friend malin at a spoken word show last night. if you've never been I can truly recommend. the six poets were really different from eachother. it's better than stand-up because you get to laugh when you want to rather then when it's expected from you. the battery in my camera died. so it's not malin being bald in the picture. it's this guy. he is very funny.

friday was dad's birthday. because of the release we celebrated him on saturday with a supergreat nite filled with jazz. on the reportoar was this song among many others. it's the theme song for a classic kidsshow in sweden. bengt ernryd playing trumpet and leading the quartet was the one who wrote it.

there is a swedish dish called pyttipanna. it's loosely based on leftovers and potatoes. had one at the fancy departmentstore. it was really nice but felt kind of wrong to go there to have it.

idag är ingen vanlig dag för idag är annas födelsedag! today is annas day! if it hadn't been for her i wouldn't have moved to jönköping and my life would probably look pretty different. so hipp hipp for her! i also went by som kids skating today. anna is a big fan of both kids and skating so I thought it was a good match.

they were selling out clothes from different tv-productions where I work today. the dress for little mhy was for sale but i didn't have enough cash. ironicly it was to big for me to. i went back later because i regret i hadn't bought it. but by then someone else had brought it home. hopefully it was someone who knew it was hers.

found this supergreat book today. it's called "vintergatan" ("milky way). the typo looked so fresh. and yet the book is from 1899 and on top of that filled with old beautiful swedish words like: "hög han stod i aftonljuset, lyssnade till afskedssuset i den djupa löfträdsgrönskan; och han lyfte tyst sin hand, lät sin önskan ses i ögats lugna brand."

i wish there were more women like drew barrymore in hollywood. she's not afraid to look nonquite on screen, she produces and now she also directed her first feature film. it's called whip it and includes stars like junos ellen paige, jimmy fallon and juliette lewis. and of course lovely drew aswell. the pics from just jared was taken at toronto film festival.
now i finally got to see whip it at stockholm film festival. i suggest you se it to when given the chance.

I did a webtest checking how much of a booknerd I was today. 55 percent i turned out. Feels ok. Looking forward to making that percent go up.

I went to the post to pick upp three boxes today. One had a dinosaur on it and the other had travelled across the Atlantic to get to me. Sorry can't tell you what was in them.
